Vintage 1900s Post Card Album
Gorgeous album for holding postcards. I am unsure of the exact era of this but based on its look, feel and construction I'd say sometime in the first half of the 1900s. There is a mark on the back that says The Nonpareil, pat. March 1876 so we know this design goes back to Victorian days at least and this may be that old though I don't believe so. Either way, its very definitely quite old and just gorgeous. Its quite large. The entire thing measures about 15" tall by about 10" wide. Black faux leather feel cardboard cover with gold embossing on the front. The inner pages are all black with slits to hold the cards. There are no cards and it appears to have never been used. Excellent condition overall. Would be equally perfect for photos or letters or whatever you wish. Has 38 holder pages that can be used on both sides, with a solid front and back page as well for protection.
Excellent vintage condition, very minor scuffs to the cardboard envelope/cover and some minor dust here and there.
